I don't think the Saints are going to let Nicks go. And yeah...he's a better player than Grubbs. He was an All Pro this year.
It just depends on the market, but if Grubbs wants premier G money, he probably won't find it here. Ask Jason Brown how that's working out for him.
I'd take on Wayne on a 3 year deal, eventhough we probably wouldnt keep him the full term. Who knows, maybe he would come here to be with Ray, Ed and McKinnie
Remember, Pagano (and new Tulane coach Curtis Johnson) recruited Wayne out of high school in New Orleans to play at Miami (Pagano and Johnson would clean up the NOLA area in the 90s for Miami before Saban came to LSU). I would not be surprised to see Wayne stay. The other alternative is Wayne could follow Peyton wherever he goes.

This is likely his last significant contract so I think he will go to the highest bidding contender. Even with Manning the Colts are a bad team so I don't see Wayne staying and that is a lot of salary cap for a team to take on a package deal of both Manning and Wayne.
Free agent Reggie Wayne confirmed Friday that he's had no contact with the Colts since the season ended.
He shouldn't be waiting by the phone, either. "My phone hasn't rung yet," said Wayne, 33. "It's only fair I worry about number 87 first. When I'm signed, then I can weigh in more." Wayne has had a nice, long career, but we get the feeling that he severely overvalues himself after a season in which he didn't always play hard and it showed up on tape. The Colts will not want him back. Feb 10 - 4:43 PM
