Cornerback Stanford Routt - Ravens Interest?

The Raiders have cut cornerback Stanford Routt. Think the Ravens would have interest, especially since it appears Foxworth will be gone?

I think cornerback is one area where we are ok at. We have a Pro Bowl performer in Ladarius Webb, a guy with prototype #1 corner skills in Jimmy Smith, and an above average corner in Cary Williams. I think this is an area where we can get some savings to apply to other positions. Additionally, I think Routt already has two visits lined up with Tennesee and Buffalo. I am sure he'll be a hot commodity in the mold of a DeAngelo Hall a few years ago after being cut by the Raiders.

I'd pass too. We have some young, good corners in Webb, Williams and Smith. I'd be looking more at Safety, LB, DE, and WR's

We're pretty good at CB. I doubt the Ravens even kick the tires honestly.

His backfield mate Tyvon Branch might be a good fit here. Backup for a year and then starter.
