BREAKING: Publicist Kristen Foster says singer Whitney Houston has died at age 48
Someone once said if voices were musical instruments, Whitney Houston's was a Stradivarius. Too bad she destroyed it with drug use....and now perhaps it took her life too.

Best female voice I've ever heard. And completely effortless.
Obligatory video is obligatory.
RIP
Unfortunate, but not unforeseen. Too bad, at any rate.
Sounds like she drowned in the bathtub. Only prescription drugs were found at the scene.
Sad.
So very sad. This just makes me so darned angry. I don't know why I'm so shocked, but I am. I was really convinced, that she had beaten her demons. But, having said that, I understand that they can really take a toll on your health. Even if you win the battle, you can still can lose the war. But, of course, we don't know at this point, what really happened. We don't really know the truth yet.
Whitney's 1991 rendition of the National Anthem is beautiful. IMO, no other voice can compare...NONE. When I heard her sing it, it moved me to tears (and it still does to this day). I knew I had to have the single of it. A version of her performance was released in Feb. I've never opened it, don't know why, I just can't. Weird, huh?
Her voice has inspired many hearts. There will never be another Whitney.
God rest your troubled soul, Whitney.
