    I don't watch ESPN, and that is why.

    If Lin had gone to OKC or Milwaukee, it would be a big story...in OKC and Milwaukee.

    Honestly, Lin deserves plenty of attention but it is ESPN that is whipping this thing into total hysteria. It does get a little sickening to watch how ESPN chooses a couple of stories and then beats them to death.

    Since MLB channel has launched I average maybe an hour of ESPN a month. It still seems like every time I stop there they are talking about the Yankees, Red Sox or Cowboys.

    There was a politico story too ever since his second game the entire media (non sports markets as well) have been covering this story. It is a good story and its great for the league. The biggest media market has a big star in a year when there was a lock out and fans were/are dwindling.

    I see no problem with this.

    What else are they going to talk about. February is a down time. There is Hockey and the NBA. And most Americans aren't over enthusiastic about either.
