I polished this off over the weekend. Michael Lewis looks at the sovereign debt crisis from the perspectives of Iceland, Greece, Ireland, Germany and the U.S. I don't think this book is as good as Moneyball or The Big Short, which I've also read. But, it does give a good feel for just how bad this crisis is, and you get the clear impression that there is more to come here in the U.S., particularly in our cities.
The chapter on Greece is entitled, "And they're the ones who invented math."
I just wrapped up Too Big to Fail. I'm looking forward to picking this up. Also, I hear that Eddie Murphy is fantastic in the film adaptation.
