Here's a video of Brob working out in Sarasota.

He's lost some noticeable muscle mass. But good to see him swinging.
I'm not sure if it's because he is much thinner, but he looks significantly older. Watching that video doesn't give me any more hope than before I saw it.
Wow he just looks lonely and depressed. I want him back to normal as much as anyone (except Cindy) but Im not optimistic.
Bat speed doesn't look too bad to me. Even if his strength doesn't translate to HR power, he can still be a very good hitter if he can maintain his high average and eye at the plate. Singles and doubles would be fine if he can maintain a .350 or higher OBP at 2B
EXACTLY!!!!! You have to go with what is being given to you, and if he's less "bulky" and has a bit less power, but still has speed, then he still has value...however, if he can't steal bases and plays tentatively, then it's not worth it...he can be a coach or something.
Um...not that I feel Roberts is going to make it back truly, but have any of you ever hit off a tee multiple times? It is not real exciting. In fact the only thing I can equate it to is running in place or doing jumping jacks...you're not really NOT working out, but you're not REALLY working out either...it sucks. Give the guy a break...he actually made it look rather "exciting." ;-)
It's retiring time for him He's done, as soon as he has a bad slide or over rotation of any kind that injury will be right back. My mother received the same injury 5 years ago with therapy all the time and there are still days she cant do anything
My Perfect One
