I don't think he looks bad in that video. Maybe not as peak in condition as we think of him, but not gaunt or lonely or depressed as everyone is speculating. Just nice to me to see him working.

This is all reminding me of the year Belle gave it a go in ST before having to retire.

    Agree.

Given his age, plus having more than one concussion, I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy about him returning to form. I really feel, esp. for all of us who really like BRob, it's not going to have the happy ending we're hoping for. Sorry Cindy.

I'm a realist. As someone said earlier, what he's probably doing is, giving it all he's got, to see what happens. I just can't see a postive ending to this.

I'm with you. He needs to consider his long term health at this point. What happens if he whacks his head one more time?

I guess I am not willing to count him out if he is healthy. This guy wasn't ever supposed to be the hitter he turned out to be. He constantly outperformed expectations as far as I am concerned. IFFFFF he is healthy I don't think it would be unreasonable to think that he could perform at a moderate (for him) pace with the bat.

It might take some more time than the average player through spring training to get right and he may have to take a few DL stints to start the year in the minors and get his bat/timing working.

Time will tell! He may retire next week! LOL

What was that, 3 swings off a tee? We're going to judge off of that? Really?
