I'd LOVE for this to happen to him/for him. I agree, it seems NO ONE has confidence in him at all...I have some optimism at least for him. C'mon Tilly!!!!!

I remember hearing about this but this is the first time I've seen it. Pretty darned scary.

I like Tillman, but that was about the most unimpressive 6 innings of no hit ball possible. It was far from brilliant except for the fact that he somehow managed to not give up a hit.

I lost my hope in Tillman when he lost the velocity on his fastball. He reminds me of Jason Johnson, just not as good.

This could also be merged with the "Shortest O's Books Ever Written" thread.

Agree with all of 3 of these. I haven't given up on Tillman, and neither should the Orioles - there's no reason to. But I've yet to see anything at the ML level that makes me think he is going to be a competent major league pitcher. He has decent movement on his curveball, but that's about it, and it's pretty useless since he can't command it.

Tillman seems to pitch up in the zone the times I has seen him pitch. If he could consistently keep his pitches down he may get more ground balls. He is still young but I think he is on his last option this year. Its time to grow up. Maybe Peterson can help him with his mechanics.
