So I just found out about the dirt church today, I'm embarrassed to say, as a Baltimore native and former UB student. It was literally right around the corner for 3 years and I never even knew it was there.

Anyone ever been? Seems like Baltimore's ultimate dive bar. I need to go ASAP.

I think its my favorite Baltimore dive these days. Ordinarily I'd say O'Donnell Pub in Canton but the bartender who everyone loved just quit.

I've been once, before an Opening Day maybe 10 years ago. It was part of a pre-game party, so all the beer was in coolers and the food was probably not the typical food from the bar. But the place was decent enough. Its out of my way though, so I've never been back.

This placed used to be my hangout in the early to mid 90s. I loved the art school girls that hung out there. Many weekends we would start out at MRT and end up at Hour Haus for some late night punk shows.
