Your guess at Ravens 1st round pick?

These mocks are starting to get really crazy. Last week I saw Barron go as high as #12 I think. Now I see mocks having him fall into the 2nd. Upshaw was around #10 and I have seen mocks where he is now around 20. There is just a lot of fluctuation and speculation. I even saw a mock yesterday where they had Floyd falling to us, and last week I saw him going in the top 10. Crazy stuff.

It's a deep draft so it will be interesting to see how teams balance need and BPA in this upcoming draft.

It seems like this could be the year if a specific guy starts to fall down the draft board the Ravens would trade up for him like we did for Oher.

BTW, Paul it looks like Irvin just might be there at the end of the second round. I wonder how his character issues might play out with the Ravens though.

Funny thing about Irvin is he has been a model citizen at WVU. And I never even heard of any issues he had off the field. He seems like a kid who overcame a good bit, and his arrest of St Patty's day was just him having a few too many and knocking a sign off of a wall. To me, its really not a blemish on him, and I am probably being protective of my "WVU" guy, but it isn't like he drove drunk, beat someone up, stole something. Just a college kid who had one too many and did something stupid. It wouldnt affect his draft position to me. Personally I would love to see us darft him. Good OLB who can be a good edge rusher for us. I actually think there is a decent chance that he will be there at the end of the 3rd. If he is there, we'd be crazy to pass him up.
