Palmer and Hunter were discussing Weaver's induction to the Hall Of Fame......Palmer says, in reference to Weaver, "I'm the one that wrote the letter to the Veteran's Committee and said all those nice things about him. Of course I didn't mean any of them."

Toronto had the bases loaded, Batista up at bat with an 0-2 count and the Jays 3rd baseman is the runner on 3rd and he tries to steal home. He as OUT!
Palmer questioned the decision to attempt the steal w/ Batista up and bases loaded. He said, "thats what you do when Mark Belanger is up, he hits like .219"

"Nick Markakis, gold glove winner; he's in RF. Adam Jones, he won a gold glove a couple years ago; he's in center. Nolan Reimold, don't hit it into the lights 'cuz he's manning LF." (Reimold seemingly lost a ball in the lights in yesterday's game.)
