Just call it the "play in round" and be done with it.

I agree.
It's still exciting toward the end of the game if it's close, but a game that fails to reach 120 combined point is generally not good basketball or that entertaining imo.
Of course the shot clock is not the only reason for that. I'm guessing scoring is down this year compared to past years when they obviously still had the 35 second shot clock.

Great close game between NC State and Georgetown coming down to the wire.

Clearly the Friday/Sunday slates of games are going to carry the day.

Pretty neat for Gottfried to go from that awkward introductary press conference to the Sweet 16.

SLU and MSU in a defensive battle. Halftime with the Spartans up 26-21.

Not a huge Draymond Green fan. Guy annoys me.

St. Louis has hung around in this game for 2 reasons. They've been able to rebound with MSU (very tough to do), and they've managed to get to the line 21 times.

God I hope this intensity stays up all through this UNC Creighton game.

c
On that technical, Henson was acting like the other team doesn't belong on the same court as North Carolina. He's wrong.
And if he has a sore wrist, that's his problem, not the opponents'.

Kendall Marshall fractured his right wrist late in the game tonight.
Obviously a brutal loss for Carolina.
