Heard the Ravens have some interest in Ted Ginn and or Osgood on Special Teams. I would certainly take Ginn as our returner. A position we've been in need of for awhile.

I would love it if we could get Ginn on a reasonable contract, would be a nice #3 or 4 reciever who adds big time speed. Plus he would be the explosive returner we have lacked sense Jermaine.lol
Weren't we interested in Osgood last time he was a FA?????

V. Jackson, Finnegan, Garcon and others are already off the board. Not that we were in on any of these guys to begin with.

Eddie Royal could be nice. Could return some punts and be a speedy receiver to go with Smith while Boldin and the TE's catch the underneath routes.

Nothing official yet. But with Garcon, Morgan, Moss, Gaffney, and Hankerson there already, why would he really want to go. The fact that there hasn't been anything official makes me think he is thinking about other options. The Ravens would be a much better one for him.

Miller,
Any scoop on whether the Ravens are looking at RT Eric Winston? If true that could shake up the Oline picture a bit. Thoughts?

ALl things being relatively equal I would take Royal over Ginn. He's not quite as explosive a returner(though still very good) but a much better WR. Could really help as a slot WR. The question of course is how much more money would it take to get Royal over Ginn?? Either way, would really like to see the return game upgraded with a proven talent.
It also sounds like there is enough FA talent at OL, especially the interior, that we should be able to find a solid guy to replace Grubbs and possibly Birk.

This would be a little suprising to me. I mean Justice is good but to me it would indicate Oher moving back to LT where he is average at best. At RT he's much better and maybe more importantly much more comfortable. The need for Justice is minimized and I don't understand why you'd once again try to fit a square peg(Oher) into a round hole(LT position).
