I agree, Jason Brown for the right deal could work. He's gone out and tasted what it's like to play for money on teams that aren't built to win. He had 24 mill guaranteed on his last deal, so a huge contract may not be a priority for him. He's not that old, and could really sure up the middle of our line if we think he could play G. He could also be the next guy up at C if we don't get Konz. I wonder if the Ravens have reached out. Though it appears Carolina is aiming for him now, and Matsko former OL coach is down there so...he could very easily go there.
I'd be happy if Gurode or Brown made their way onto our roster. Both are more than serviceable IMO. With a preference to the younger Brown.

Would take Brown back. Should be a servicable guard able to replace Birk if needed. I think Brown is probably better than Gurode at both G and C.

The Jaguars reportedly have interest in free agent WRs Lee Evans and Legedu Naanee.
Evans is visiting team headquarters on Wednesday. Signing Evans or Naanee would presumably allow GM Gene Smith to focus on other positions early in next month's draft. Evans is purely a downfield threat at this stage while Naanee is more effective near the line of scrimmage. Related: Jaguars, Legedu Naanee

My best guess is guaranteed playing time, a better fit in a 4-3 vs a 3-4 and a chance to be part of what is shaping up to be a pretty dominant defensive line in Buffalo. It also gives him a shot to get back at the Pats if that's what he wants. And I'm sure they can offer him more money than the Ravens right now as well.

Well we missed out on yet another target in Anderson, it would of been nice to get him. I would of also gave him the 4 year deal Buffalo gave him, not sure how much he got yet tho . I wouldn't of went over board to get him signed. There were articles on the internet asking what position he would of played for us DE or OLB , I would of put him on the line he played some of his best ball from that position. Hopefully soon we will see Ozzie's big plan to make this team better for the 12' season.
