    Diablo 3

Release date is set: May 15th, 2012...

Diablo 2 was easily my favorite game of all time. I am eagerly waiting the expansion and have been for years now. I remember searching for "Diablo 3 updates" on yahoo (yes, before google) wayy back in the day when I had AOL...only to be disappointed until they announced it in 2008.

Am I alone here or is anyone else as excited for this as I am?

I'm very excited but my computer won't be able to handle it and I can't afford a new one. This is probably a good thing.

I might buy it when they patch in PvP. Definitely not buying it until then.

I loved Diablo 2. I liked being the Druid so that I could turn into a bear, and also summon a bear. It was the double-bear attack!

    Just pre-ordered and downloaded.

Played the beta and while I thought it was way too easy it was also gorgeous and really enjoyable. 12 1/2 days to go!

I'll also be on 2 weeks vacation during that time so a few of my days are now booked solid!

Ha, the funny thing is the only reason I have 2 weeks off is because my wife is due any day with our 2nd child!

My 2nd was born the day before Fallout New Vegas came out, so I picked it up on the way home from the hospital and had PLENTY of late night time to put in on it while the baby was feeding/sleeping.

I am on nightmare with my Monk that is 35 I think. I love the class and I solo everything. They don't have amazing dps and boss fights take forever, but they have a ton of utility.

Do you guys use the auction house much? I've bought a few things recently and it seems like a better way to spend my coin than on merchants and crafting. High level crafting might be better, but I'm not anywhere near that point yet.

I have been spending my money on crafting, the prices in the AH are beyond ridiculous, especially for weapons. 200k gold for a 60 dps weapon? WTF.

On the AH, I'd typically put in a max buyout of 5 or 10k, and check if there were any upgrades available. I'd spend more if I had a really weak piece that was way outleveled. In particular, I spent a lot on high movement speed boots because they are so essential to kiting. Some of the legendary armor pieces have movement speed as well, but I can't afford those.
