Yeah... I've never had trouble with my phone at Camden Yards. I use Verizon, if that matters. I assume this is a pretty common problem though if the Orioles are already doing something about it.

I attended a game with my mother (Monday's game) and we were in section 340. I had no issues getting a 3G signal. I am also on AT&T.

    I have 1 question and a request.

First off, the request: PLEASE release Kevin Gregg.

Questions: Why is there black stitching on the white panel of the O's new caps? I can't figure it out, for the life of me (only because it looks tacky... or unfinished... or something along those lines).

I also had fine 3G (though not 4G) Verizon signal from the upper deck, third base side. In my experience as a college journalist, wireless signals for the press box are normally password protected so that the spectators aren't using up all the bandwidth.

    Ever work with government before?

Baltimore City, Maryland Stadium Authority plus any private deals, installation, etc. You've got to get a permit to breathe these days. I understand why this could take a little while.

In this day and age when anything and everything seems to be for sale, we have drawn a line so as not to over-commercialize the ballpark experience or the ballpark itself.
Let's be honest, the good ol days at OPACY are over... The product on the field is a joke but clearly not as big as a joke as the FO. (DD has improved some personnel)

I would not see how giving the rights to a local sponsor like UA or anything else would give a lessor experience to fans.

I have been to several games at Turner Field, every half inning is some sponsored game or something going on, it did feel excessive but it really didnt bother me...thats what kind of time we live in...EVERYTHING is for sale... so make money!

I for one would be irritated if they sold the name. Revenue isn't the O's biggest problem, inefficiency is.

Opening Day Club level, first base side... "Searching" for the entire duration of the game. AT&T iPhone 4.

Opening Night Saturda...intermittent 3G signal in the right field bleachers but really not useful enough to do more than figure out who's call I just missed.

    Thanks for the response!

So you're saying that from the clouds, you get good 3G? Shocker.

The "good old days at OPACY?" What the hell does this even mean? The team has played here for 19 years so far, and 14 straight of them have been losing seasons. Unless you mean that dynasty we had in 96 and 97, then there have been NO good ol' days at Camden Yards!

Well no technically ...but up until 2001 they were drawing over 3MM+ per season w/ average 40,000 per game.

My bathroom had no hot water and towels after the fifth during the Yankee series. Some games they seem to run out of towels in the five inning. Can an O's employee check the bathrooms to see it is properly supplied? Perhaps a checklist like they have at some places with a signed sheet .

On my Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Android/Verizon), I did not have single in section 354 on Opening Day.

Not the team's fault you spent all morning in the strip club.
