As I just said, all of these ticket questions will be answered in some form where season tickets are brought up...its their standard answer for everything.

If we ask about on field stuff, we will hear that Mr Duquette is working hard, that he knows its a tough hill to climb, etc...again, standard bs stuff.

The Orioles should be willing to come here, take their medicine and be honest with their most knowledgable fans...but they won't do that....how can they be honest with us if they can't even be honest with themselves?
Can we at least wait for a few responses before we start bashing them?

Will the O's ever pursue a "premium" free agent? Or will they only do so at a bargain?

Thanks for answering the walk-up question. I thought I'd remembered 3000 from before but wasn't sure.

And I'm sure you're correct about what will come out of these, i.e. the portion of your quote above. I don't expect anything to actually change regarding the surcharge, and I'm sure we'll get the same answers as when it was introduced - rewards season ticket holders, other teams are doing it, etc. But I'd just like them to know how unhappy the fanbase is with it.

They didn't ask for feedback. They offered themselves to answer questions. If the president offered to come over to your house, to answer any questions you and a couple dozen of your best friends had, and the only stipulation was that there were going to be a very few simple rules, would you tell him to get bent?

I always appreciate your opinions. You change my mind on things often.

You can wait...I choose not to. I'm not naive.

I know what the answers are...Hell, I was instructed to give some of these same answers when I worked down there.

You want this to be for real?

Well let's conduct a real question and answer session where we are allowed to ask follow up questions...and have it be face to face.

I think they are partners. I know the previous vendor also got alot of complaints.

The Orioles and Sportservice have also collaborated on an $11 million project to redesign and enhance the concessions and retail operations at Oriole Park, including improvements to the food and beverage stands at the ballpark. As part of the investment, new concessions-related technology is being added, including a new point-of-sale system for faster transactions and new grills and other equipment so more food can be freshly prepared.

”We are excited to bring our fans a variety of new food and beverage offerings that will further enhance the gameday experience,” said Orioles Director of Communications Greg Bader. “Our partners at Delaware North Sportservice have embraced our local food culture and culinary influences, and we look forward to seeing these new items debut in less than two weeks.”

Abramson noted that Sportservice has extensive experience completing successful enhancements of concessions in professional sports facilities. Sportservice is also bolstering the size of the food and retail staff at Camden Yards in order to provide more fresh preparation of food, ensure that customer service meets the Orioles’ and the company's high standards, and prepare for the team's continuing resurgence.

    Too funny.

Greg indicated this would be a possibility. Dan Duquette answered any question I asked him openly.

You're probably right, and while there are at least 30 legitimate questions in this thread, your big contribution is "are you going to answer any questions that matter?" Maybe you should ask one first.

In a private talk that isn't to be published on the internet...big difference there.

Well, for me to know what questions to ask, I need to know if they are going to answer question that matter or if they want to concentrate on things that don't matter..like the cartoon bird, baltimore on the road jerseys, beer prices, etc...

In other words, do I need to think of softball, kiddie questions or real questions.

But the person answering is a PR person. They put spin on things and try to make the company look good. They have advisors to spin the GOP presidential campaign

Try real questions. If they don't answer them, it's their failure. Not yours. Which it would be the other way. Many things in life require effort without promise of result.

I know the O's already have a 13-game Sunday plan... any chance of also offering a 13-game Friday or Saturday plan, or maybe one with a mix of weekend days? Seems like these would be popular, and would probably increase overall attendence.
