If they're going to answer questions once a week there should be a separate thread for question submissions, or use this one and post answers in a separate locked thread. Can you imagine this thread right before key events like the trade deadline and Winter Meetings?

Why haven't we heard from the owner of the team in years? How does he feel about fielding a losing team for 14 years and how does he plan to fix it?
Why were the O's so far behind other clubs when it came to implementing a pitching program, a workout program, video analysis, focusing on OBP, and tapping into the international market, etc. when these are all things that help them level the playing field versus teams with more money?

Any of the quick questions I could think of have already been asked, but I hope this discussion goes well.

Peter Angelos is getting up there in years, which I assume is the reason for his reducing number of public appearances (not that he was all that available to begin with).
Is his plan to do as George Steinbrenner did with the Yankees and slowly hand the business off to his sons, or is his plan to do as Wayne Weaver just did with the Jaguars and sell the team once he feels it is time to retire?
Whomever the owner is, I think the majority of the fans enjoy the ability to hear Steve Bisciotti speak a few times a year and give us a sense of the direction of the organization. I would very much like to have the Orioles owner do the same.

Why won't you answer questions that actually matter?
Will you answer anything in a manner that is essentially not a form letter?
If we are going to get real answers to real questions, then this is a great thing for the team to do.
If all we are going to get is standard, run of the mill answers to questions that don't really matter(ie, the "easy things" like ticket sales, concessions, etc...) then this is a nice gesture with very little substance.Last edited by Sports Guy; 03-20-2012 at 08:30 PM.

Are the Orioles Players and Management open to starting a Kangaroo Court?
With Adam Jones as Judge?
Fines could be dolled out.
Prizes could be awarded. Such as getting to sit next to Buck Showalter on the plane flights?
Some of us legit citizens would like to know.
Please?

With this being the last year of unlimited international spending allowed to teams, why haven't we been more aggressive on that front?
