Well, the dynamics used to be that Yankee fans were typically Giants fans and Mets fans were Jets fans. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm from upstate but always took plenty of trips for both the Mets and Yankee games (many against the Orioles) and even Fenway a few times. Mets fan in 1969, became an O's fan in 1970. Big Jets/Namath fan. Still a Jets fan. Originally Posted by bobmc
