The decommits are always on the players. My point was only that at Maryland we seem to have these snafus. That said, from what I understand if Cassell does happen to go elsewhere Turg has some other solid options. More to that point I have confidence he will be able to bring in as good if not better players next year. If Gary had a player decommit you were almost always looking at a random turd as a replacement.

Sounds like they aren't the same at all...

Decommits happen quite a bit, we think it only happens to us because we don't follow other teams as close.

I said it only because at Maryland we have quite a history of these things happening. And it's not just decommits, it's the way some of the stuff happens to Maryland. Jawad Williams "car break down", Shane Clark not enrolling the first day of school, Tyree Evans asking and granted his release from his LOI because of our AD, Gus Gilchrist backing out after enrolling, etc. However, like I said I have much more confidence in Turge filling the scholarship with a quality player vs Gary. So while it's technically more of the same I'm not nearly as worried about it as I would have been 2 years ago. The program is already much more stable now than it was the last 5 or 6 years under Gary.

Rumor is that he has re-committed to Maryland. I can't confirm can only say I saw it a few minutes ago on another board. I know he was supposed to announce today but I didn't find any confirmation via a quick google search. Can anyone confirm this yet?

There are a bunch of tweets confirming it and it's printed in the Capital Classic program.

Nice. Well, this is a huge class. Lets just hope there is some quality within this quantity. We really needed another backcourt body for the upcoming season and I can't imagine the addition of Cassell will affect the decision of the Harrison twins too much. Another big plus about his addition is if the twins don't come to Maryland it doesn't leave us hanging as much and racing to fill the backcourt hole we would have (assuming Stogs leaves after this year).

Are you at the game? Would love to see how they all perform. I saw a practice video and everyone looked impressive but its hard to really tell. Allen looked to be fully recovered and Dodd continued to show athleticism.

Not there. Just reading tweets about it.
