Carroll reaches on a fielder's choice fielded by Wada, Span to second. Sounds like he tried to get the lead runner but failed.
Mauer flies out to center. One away.

Hughes singles to left, Span scores. Twins 1, Orioles 0. Carroll to second. Two away.

I wonder if the Twins are hitting the ball hard, or if all these singles are just grounders that are finding holes.
