Either way, my wife drives me crazy with the malt vinegar. I keep that stuff away from my fries. I give her the cup, I take the bag, and hope the in-store breezes don't blow too much of the vinegar smell my way.

I suppose my great failure during my trip to Vegas a few years ago was not getting a chance to try In-n-Out Burger, just to see what it was like. In my experience, Sonic burgers have been pretty decent, as well as the burgers at Steak 'n Shake. The key, as with anywhere else, is getting the product fresh. One time I was in Oklahoma City and went to the Sonic by their headquarters. It was a sit-down-type Sonic (indoors, not little tables or benches outside), which is a rarity. I've also never been to Fatburger, or Whataburger for that matter.

My brother and I are probably going to catch a game when the Royals visit in May. I don't know if we'll take in any of the food offerings, though. We don't like to wait too long or pay too much.
The fries at 5 guys are okay - but once again, nothing special.

IMO the burgers at Steak 'n Shake are as good as 5 guys.

    This thread shows that everyone does not have the same taste . . . . . . . .

Somehow I think that should turn into a Kevin Gregg joke, but I'm not sure how to work it. Any thoughts?

I walked by the stadium today, they are doing a ton of work, like a ton of work. And Gino's is right at the front entrance, is this going to be open to the public year round?

I seriously doubt Gino's will be, but Dempsey's is supposed to be open year-round.

    Kevin Gregg burger:

    It's overpriced
Has too many items on the bun
It does not close the deal
    It leaves you with indigestion
You wonder why you bought it at that price.
Thinking you should have gotten a cheaper burger with a better roll.
Better alternative and those won't make you sick.

The "beef patty" is actually a blend of alley cat and gopher, albeit alley cat/gopher that truly believes it's beef.

How can everything be "cooked to order" if the Turkey burgers are cooked sous vide?

Asparagus fries sound great and the Tampa location is doable if I ever need to go to Tampa. (I ain't driving 70 minutes each way for a burger)

Elevation doesn't seem like the chain for me. Fries in olive oil?

I'll throw in my $.02 for anyone who finds him/herself in DC: http://blackandorangeburger.com/.

Only two locations, both in the city, but undoubtedly the source of some of the best burgers I've ever had.

I walked by this place the other day. Which burger(s) do you recommend?

Honestly, everything I've tried has been good, but I usually go simple with The Rogue State and the usual toppings plus brie and smoked bacon. Can't go wrong with that and a side of sweet potato fries.

The Camden Yards concessions will now include Ripken Power Shred, the best beef jerky I've tasted. And you can get all three flavors: original, sweet-n-spicy and teriyaki.

Is it weird that the container looks like a tin of tobacco?

Being out here in Cali I've had both and 5 Guys is better.
