KU's lack of perimeter shooting this tournament is really hurting right now; they are getting dominated down low. Releford sitting with two fouls.

UK with a free throw, Robinson with a bad miss on the other end.
UK with a three, now up 31-19. For KU to even get back in this will make it a hell of a game.

Teahan with a crappy attempt for three, followed by a UK three. KU down by 15.

The UK lead is now 37-21 after yet another UK three. This is total domination. Kentucky leads 37-21 with 3:33 left in the first half. TV timeout.

At the half the score is Kentucky 41, Kansas 27 after a last-second bucket by KU. The Jayhawks are getting owned, plain and simple. Among other things, they're getting swarmed down low, they're not getting perimeter shots, and the overall FG% battle is a joke. If KU pulls out a win, they will pretty much have to make this the best national championship game ever and do everything lights out in the second half. Not the greatest likelihood there.

Kentucky is obviously more talented 1-7, but I'm very impressed with how smart they play. They rarely have a bad possession. They are dominating without their best player scoring a single point. Getting really good guard play tonight.

It is sickening to see how much better Kentucky is better than every other team.

I just let my wife watch Smash. If it gets closer I might tune back in, but...feh.
