    Rays Rock Rivera

    c
It was a helter-skelter win for the D-Rays today in the season opener. They blew a 4-0 lead early in the game. They blew a HUGE chance in the 8th inning when they had runners on the corners with nobody out, and failed to score. However, they were able to bounce back to score 2 runs off of Mariano Rivera in the bottom of the 9th inning to beat the Yanks. Any Yank loss is good for me.

What if a meaningless Yankee loss put the Red Sox into the playoffs?

I will say it is nice to see NY and Bos at the bottom of the standings.

The beauty of MLB.tv.... get to watch the O's put one in the win column and then fast forward the Rays -Yankees game to the bottom of the 9th and put some Yankee loss icing on an Orioles win cake.

I would much rather see the Yankees miss the playoffs if I had to choose one or the other. Both would be great.
