Are there any websites that keep demographic info in any kind of detail on information such as DOB, College, State, etc....

I wanted to aggregate some biographical data such as College, Age, State....

www.baseball-reference.com should have all of that information.

The Orioles Roster on their website should have that info too. Just click on each individual player.

As more players play, there will be DOB, weight, height, birthplace info on each teams link.

They also have college info on the draft page.

Then I would be highly surprised if you can find a website with all that date on one page already listed for you.

Why? It would not be a large file. I'd guess no more than a couple MB

I wasn't referring to the size of the data, I mean that it would be tough to find a single list that includes a player's DOB, college, state, age, and whatever you may like to find. That info is definitely out there but you would probably have to look on different sites to collect everything.

What college produces the most pros?
Most common first name in the majors
Most common birth year?

Things like this.

Why? I just like to know odd things like that.

All the sites that display it already have it in a database. So either they compile all that stuff, which I really doubt, or they buy this kind of data from companies.

I don't know if you could do a list by first name but every year I buy the new edition of "Lee Sinins Sabermetric Baseball Encyclopedia". So much better and sortable than any web-site that I have found.
