I have really liked the way this team is starting out this series , hopefully it continues. Holtby has been lights out , I don't think I have personally seen this kid play as well as he has in the first two games. This whole team has impressed me the first two games but especially Brouwer and JOEL WARD, Ward has played better than he did all season. I got tickets to game 3 so hopefully we play with the same intensity in game 3 and 4 and make the series 3-1 heading back to beantown.LET'S GO CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I was pretty ticked off about that one. Officiating/Disciplen has been pretty inconsistent in the playoffs, not just the Caps-Bos series either. I mean how does Shea Weber not get a game or two suspension for that punch and faceboard smash in game 1 the other night. And then you've got that mess of a series between Pit and Phi. Getting back to the Caps, I've really liked their effort so far in this series and if they can keep up they have a very good chance of moving on to round two!

I'm proud of the guys for taking the high road so far. That just isn't our game, and it doesn't need to be... outside of defending ourselves when it becomes absolutely necessary.
