    Will Chen answer the bell?

So far so great...Do you expect Chen to keep the SP performance going?

These aren't the Twins, but the Yankees are vulnerable. What kind of performance do you expect out of Chen tomorrow?

I thought it was the other way around. The question still stands. If the thread needs to be delayed until Monday, so be it.

Honestly, more worried about Matusz instead of Chen.

For some reason I thought you were talking about Bruce Chen.

    Thumbs up

The question might well be, will Matusz answer the bell? With Wada due to return, I expect Brian's leash is a lot shorter than Chen's.

He'd better, because we're playing the Yankees.

And Matusz had better, too. You know it's a rare opportunity to beat the Yankees in our home park with thousands of their fans there, and end the night 4 games ahead of them.

4-0 to 0-4, and I would love to see the look on all of the Yank fans' faces at OPACY after the final out.

I think Matusz will do fine. Chen, I really don't know. He has not seen this level of competition yet, he is still young, its against the Yankees, Japan will be watching, eager to please at home with new team, new league, and new country...lots of pressure and intimidation. I like to believe he'll seize the opportunity to make a great first impression but any prediction is pure speculation at this point.

I'll be at the Yard tomorrow, and possibly for half of the game on Tuesday. Hoping that I'm leaving happy for a celebratory toast instead of licking wounds.
