I feel like our guys in the lineup have a much better sense of thier role than they would have at the beginning of last year, or atleast the veteran players. Hardy-Markakis-Jones-Wieters is kind of an underrated middle of the order. It certainly isn't what BOS or TEX or NYY can throw at you, but that is a tough stretch, especially for RHP. If Paulino/Davis/Andino/Johnson/Reynolds/Betemit/Reimold/Chavez can give us something we should be able to keep up in most games.

But of course, it will really depend on our pitching. If these guys can pitch well against NYY (especially Matusz... Arrieta isn't afraid of anybody), it will go along way to set up thier confidence for this year. Last year we started out so poorly against them I think it got in thier heads. I'll admit... even we were up by a few runs late I just felt like we were going to blow it. Gregg usually did after all.

We gotta come out strong and put those MFY at 0-6!

Here's a ridiculous stat. We're on a streak of 14 straight losing seasons, but since Babe Ruth joined the franchise in 1920, the Yankees have had a grand total of 11 losing seasons. Unreal.

Hopefully we can pull out at least one of the next two. The yankees are tough match-up. Chen needs to throw strikes. If he doesn't it will get ugly quick.
