Knowing Bobby V's penchant for being unpredictable... I wouldn't rule out this entire Youkilis issue as being manufactured to keep the media under control. They've been gnawing on this 24/7. Keeps them distracted while the Sox put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

Perhaps not... but if V was smart he would have had a team meeting before OD and as part of that expressing the media being up their behinds considering what had occurred. So with that in mind we're going to throw them a bone once in awhile and keep our team under the radar while we're getting ourselves together this season.

They showed the tape of Pedroia saying it on MLB Network / Intentional talk a little while ago. Showed his and Youk's comments and both were pretty pissed about it. Sounds like V may have apologized.

That was beautiful. Even though I have Melancon on my fantasy team, seeing him walk off after giving up three homers to that chorus of boos (after more boos accompanying each homer) made my night. Almost could have made up for an Orioles loss
