    The measured categories are:
    Offense - R - HR - RBI - SB - AVG - OPS
    Pitching - W - SV - K - HLD - ERA - WHIP

    My roster is as follows:
    C - Geovany Soto
    1B - Justin Mourneau
    2B - Kelly Johnson
    3B - David Wright (Keeper)
    SS - Hanley Ramirez (Keeper)

    OF - Nick Markakis
    OF - Corey Hart
OF - Lance Berkman (1B too)
Util - Bryan LaHair (1B, OF)
    DL - Mark Reynolds (1B, 3B)
    DL - Chris Young (OF)

    SP - Justin Verlander (Keeper)
    SP - Josh Johnson
    SP - David Price (Keeper)
    SP - Yu Darvish
    RP - Mike Adams
    RP - Joe Smith
    RP - Joaquin Benoit
    RP - Josh Lindblom
    P - Mitchell Boggs
    BN - Ivan Nova
    BN - Ervin Santana
    BN - Drew Hutchison
    BN - Bronson Arroyo
    BN - Jacob Turner
    BN - Jordan Lyles
    DL - Josh Tomlin
    DL - LaTroy Hawkins

A couple of things - I don't plan on having any offensive bench players, so when Reynolds and Young are back, I need to decide who I'm dropping. Same with Tomlin and Hawkins on the pitching side. Again, it's a 16 team league, so you have to dig deep. That's why, even though he's still in AAA, I have Jacob Turner stashed away, and have guys like Lyles and Hutchison on the team (not dependable yet, but there's upside).

Here is my question - I have a hole at catcher, Soto has been terrible. I have Hanley Ramirez who won't be SS eligible next season. It makes sense to try to trade HanRam and try to get as much value as possible given that I won't be keeping him next season (I'm keeping David Wright over him since both will be at 3B.)

I'm also contemplating selling Yu. Yu is a keeper quality starting pitcher, but I already have David Price and Justin Verlander.

So my two biggest trade chips are Yu Darvish and Hanley Ramirez. Given the league I'm in and my roster, what do you suggest?

I'm thinking try to trade Hanley Ramirez for a keeper level catcher and a decent SP.

Then try to trade Yu for a good starter and an above average SS.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
Okay, so back to my plight... I am about to send a proposal out to a team that is in 13th place in the league.

    Trading:
    David Wright
    Yu Darvish
    Geovany Soto
    Corey Hart

    Receiving:
    Matt Wieters
    Mike Trout
    James Shields

    Your thoughts?

Out of this, my four keepers next year would be:
    Hanley Ramirez
Matt Wieters or Mike Trout (Probably Wieters)
    Justin Verlander
    David Price
*I might not keep Price and instead keep both Wieters and Trout - not sure

This gives me an adequate replacer keeper of Wright, while supplementing my current roster to make a run for the championship this year. What do you think?

I think that is a good offer for you. Getting Trout and Wieters though you might have to take a lesser pitcher than Shields. I would offer that without Hart and see if he bites.

In a 20 team keeper league with 25 man rosters on another Orioles board that I post on. Took over the basement team and traded CJ Wilson for Jarrod Parker and Travis Hafner. I'm convinced that Jarrod Parker is going to be a certifiable ace. Nearly throwing a no hitter against Josh Hamilton and the Rangers last night made me think he might be already.

I have made two more trades and also added Dylan Bundy with the intent on keeping him.

Traded Adam Wainwright, Nelson Cruz, Felix Hernandez, and Starlin Castro for Adam Jones and Joey Votto.
Traded Adrian Gonzalez, Matt Capps, and Matt Cain for Hanley Ramirez and Andy Pettite

    Current roster

    C- Montero
    1B - Votto
    2B - Pedroia
    3B - Wright
    SS - Ramirez
    OF - Jones
    OF - Braun
    OF - Bruce
    UT - Ortiz
    UT - Victorino
    BN - Smoak
    BN - Beckham
    BN - Maybin
    DL - Berkman

SP - Greinke, Marcum, Hudson, Santana, Pettite, Floyd, Niese, Liriano, Vogelsong, Bundy
RP - Downs, Motte, Myers, Putz
    DL - Anderson, Carpenter, Britton

We have to keep a minimum of 7 guys in this league and can keep up to 10. I'm tossing around the idea of keeping only 7 this year. I would package some of my current 10 and try to upgrade my top 7. I intend on keeping Bundy. Guys I'm considering trading to upgrade would be Greinke, Montero, Bruce, Wright. Current Keeper rank:

    1) Braun
    2) Votto
    3) Ramirez
    4) Pedroia
    5) Wright
    6) Bruce
    7) Jones
    8) Greinke
    9) Bundy
    10) Montero

Since my last post I traded Wright, Bruce, and Greinke for Haren, Tulo and Pena.

So I am planning on keeping only 7 guys and maybe 8.

    1) Braun
    2) Votto
    3) Tulo
    4) Hanley Ramirez
    5) Pedroia
    6) Jones
    7) Bundy

and I might keep Montero as my 8th guy depending on how he does.

    Of your list i'd keep

    Votto
    Pedroia
    Wright
    Hanram
    Jones
    Braun
    Bruce
    Grienke
Marcum (i think the guy is under rated, he keeps his whip under 1.20, 3.30 ERA and good 150k pitcher)
and maybe Victorino. the guy is a good 15hr 30sb threat.

If i were you i'd look into trading away Wright or HanRam. Han Ram is going to lose his SS option unless he is traded or Reyes gets hurt. So that would leave you with two elite 3b. It would great if you can get S. Castro. Go well with your young core of players. Plus since you have good amount of power hitters Castro will help you out in SB, Runs, and Avg. I dont like the idea of keeping Catchers. They are so easy to replace year to year, and never are consistent in their production. I have McCann and he is killing me this year but i cant convince myself to trade em away because of his pre season value. Also i wouldnt keep Bundy, especially over Marcum. I think Marcum's will be more helpful over Bundy for the next few years you are trying to compete.
