I'm not optimistic. The only hope I have is that the tape is not out on him yet, and he pulls a Chris Waters.

I predict if he has a good game, people will be annointing him our Ace this year, and future #2 (behind Bundy). If he has a bad game, he'll be bullpen fodder and we should promote Eveland.

Chen just really worries me; I don't think he'll be in the rotation for long. His stuff and command looked awful in ST. I'm predicting 3 innings, 7 runs... Hope i'm wrong though.

I'd feel better about Chen tonight if there were more pessimistic predictions in this thread.

If he can throw strikes, I'm optimistic that the end result will be solid. If he can't throw strikes, it'll be a repeat of yesterday, IMO.
What Brian couldn't do was right the ship. He continued to not be able to locate.

I saw the one start where Tampa Bay roughed him up a bit. I'm curious to see his changeup because he really didn't throw it that day. If he has a good one, I like his chances. If not, he's in trouble.

I wish I had had a chance to Wei-Yin on this matter earlier. This fight was over at the Wei-Yin. Let's just say there was no Wei-Yin hell he was going to disappoint in his debut.
