I think Grandersons an overrated CF. He has a great build, good speed, a flair for the dramatic, but also the reputation of a hard worker. I just don't see all that currently translating into great defensive CF. Bad reads.

Well...I saw his first start when I was down there. He wasn't very good when he was on MASN later in the spring, though, which is probably the one you saw. It didn't look like he was mixing up his pitches as much that day, though. It appeared to me he was focused on fastball command (and gave up some Jennings bombs because of it).

Yeah, i did see that one. That would make sense that he was struggling, going pretty much exclusively with fastballs. Yet another reason why ST performance isn't necessarily a good indicator of how a guy will do in the season.
