    I don't think Freddie's trying to hit anybody. He simply does not have control of the baseball while it's in his hand, much less afterwards. He throws the ball in the general direction of the catcher-umpire-batter conglomerate. It's all a blur from way back there on the pitcher's mound, I guess.
