Is Buck Messing With The Lineup Too Much
Wieters, Andino, Hardy, Jones, and Markakis have all played in every game this year.
After that, Reimold has played in 4, Chavez in 2, Paulino in 2, Betemit in 4, Reynolds in 5, Davis in 4, Johnson in 3.
I understand the lefty/righty matchup, but is moving guys around so much in between our 2-5 hitters messing up the rythm of our lineup?

I love Buck mixing up the lineup personally. One thing Davey Johnson did well is always keep people fresh. That is very important.
Btw-Palmer noted he really likes Paulino and his bat off the bench. Hard to argue with that. Unless he is downright awful, Teagarden might be sent packing (assuming he gets claimed).

Looks like exactly what Buck should be doing. If one of those guys wants to play everyday they should have to earn it.

I am glad Buck is getting guys into games, with the exception of Flaherty, who seems to be the forgotten man.

I'm glad he's mixing it up personally. One of the things I really couldn't stand last year when we'd trot out pretty much the same lineup every single game even though it wasn't productive. Plus, the Rays in 2008 had dozens of different lineup combinations they used and they made it to the World Series that year.

I too would like to see Flaherty get his fair shot (preferably at 3rd, but even LF). Let's see what we've got in this kid. I for one am surprised that he hasn't seen the field more, with all the talk about Buck's fondness coming into the year. Granted, it is only 6 games in, so there is a good chance this argument will be moot within the next month.

Didn't the Earl of Tomato like to mess with his lineups?
