And keeping Hammel's head on straight when he doesn't have his best stuff.

BTW, Hunter just said Buck said EVERYONE in the bullpen is available today.

Ruth could move from RF to closer in a pinch.

Babe Ruth STILL holds World Series pitching records... all-time.

I'd love to get one more out of Hammel. He's been excellent since Lawrie's faux pas.

Hammel gets through 5, gives up 2 earned runs. He did just fine. Let's bring in the "A" bullpen to lock this game down.

Is it just me or did Hammel get better and better as the game went on? Palmer thought maybe he wasn't loose when he started in the 1st inning, lol

Oh c'mon...there's no way they'd let him do that.

3 up 3 down. This game is like it's a written script.

Wow, Hammel has been dealing these last three innings. Wish he could come back out for the sixth but that PC is probably too high.

That was his last contract, he got his current one as a 30 something third baseman.

Yea but I am saying, say Ruth is playing today and this year he has his 1921 season where he hit 378 /.512 /.846 /1.359 with 59 Hr and 171 rbi, and he was a free agent after this year, and just for kick his agent was Boras. What do you think his deal would be?
