    The right-handed pitcher has full view of the runner on 3rd base the entire time. The runner can get a jump before the pitcher even starts his wind-up with a lefty, which is what the Blue Jays did to Andy Pettitte 2 years ago. That's not an option with a right-handed pitcher.
