    Jersey Sleeve Patches

I have a new Markakis "Baltimore" jersey and just got the patches for both sleeves. Could someone tell me how far up the sleeve these patches go? Maybe from the bottom?

    Thanks a bunch!

I'd say take it to Pro-Am and get them to sew it, but I see that you're in Santa Monica.

I just approximated based on pictures and got it looking pretty good. Now to have them sewn on.

Got them on Amazon but they came form a third party ultimately. Don't remember who they were but they ended up being the official MLB ones. I realized that there are two different Maryland flag patches. One says, "Baltimore, Orioles" (home) and the other says, "Orioles, Baseball" (away and alternate).

The big pain in the A is taking off the hard plastic backing! You have to warm them up with an iron then peel if off. You place the patch face down with a thin cloth on top and then iron for a few minutes to loosen the adhesive. Sounds easy other than the fact that you have to get it hotter than lava, and then use gloves to pull off the backing, or else your fingers will melt. MLB requires that they come that way for some reason. I assume to keep the patches from getting bent or creased.

We order our appliques from Stahls. I don't know if you have to have an account with them to order or not.

Thanks. We've got one place out here that does uni's. The owner is a baseball guy. He manages the Humboldt Crabs.
