He's MUCH MUCH better so far. He's building his confidence with every inning. Left a change up and it cost him...but he's clearly showing much better stuff. Lets see what happens in the 5th..

I'll revise this. I think he's been a little predictable at times, but at others he's been quite good. He's utilizing Matusz's change really well (save for the HR, which appears to have been much more about location than the pitch itself).

Ha. No. I'm watching on MLBTV but working and only caught the pitch out of the corner of my eye. Saw it was up/middle, but that was all I got.

Lol anyone else notice their catcher eying Bob Dino there while showing signs? He's not even on 2nd base yet.

I'd consider bunting Chavez here and hope he beats it out.

Definitely would like to see Flaherty get some more starts, he's obviously rusty from not getting any AB's since ST.

I'm not a fan of Chavez so far. He looks clueless at bat.

If he was locating his fastball better I would be thrilled. His off speed stuff looks great.

Just stupid pitch selections. Why are you throwing off-speed stuff to Mathis 0-0 and 1-0?
