Let's add an extra run or two of insurance and then let Johnson seal the deal

OI would like to say I was wrong about Ayala. I thought he was excess but he's a solid setup guy. Between, Strop, and O'day, we have three solid setup guys.

Seriously.. it's been a little too easy for Johnson lately, but at least they got through Konerko and AJP.

He is getting older but man would he look great in the middle of our order, one of the most under appreciated players of the last decade.

    .
We also just got their most dangerous hitters out of the way, so Jimmy has his work cut out for him next inning, not having to face Konerko or Pierzynski.

It feels weird to have so many quality arms.

Crap. That streak was nice while it lasted (unless they bat around).

Isn't it awesome to not fear the bullpen? (excluding gregg)

I agree... O'Day, Strop, and Ayala is a great set-up core. I think of Lindstrom as being a few notches below those guys.

That, and walk-off losses are more frustrating than losing to the Yankees in 12 innings.

Well, maybe not. But effing close.

Not greedy, just years of losing will do things like that.
