Matusz has actually pitched really well after the first inning when he was overthrowing his fastball (and not mixing in any other pitches). The changeup has been pretty good. His fastball isn't fooling anybody, but as long as he keeps mixing in his offspeed it can be effective. He's hitting the low and away spot well with the FB, just needs to get it in a bit more off the plate when he comes in to righties.
