My beef was that the check swing is a big moment in a very big game (because it was perfect) and that they should have shown the replay from a side angle (like they do all of the time). I'm not arguing that it was a check swing or not. I think it's very odd that it hasn't been shown on replay.

I don't think anyone could tell from normal game speed whether it was a check swing or not. If it was a no brainer I could understand the absence of a replay. In this case, considering the moment, I can't understand it.

With all this talk of automating the balls/strikes calls, I think it would make a PG even more rare than it already is.

It would make a perfect game about as rare or not rare as it should be. Galarraga would get one back.

Maybe they'll make a new major League 2K12 commercial with Humber and Galarraga.

Gallaraga walls in disguised as Humber.

    Hot chick: "Armando Gallaraga?"

Gallaraga: "Come on let me in. I almost had a perfect game. The ump screwed me".

    Humber's final line:

    5IP 8H 9R 9ER 3BB 5K 3HR 115Pitches

Welcome back to earth, Humber. If it's any consolation, Armando Galarrage got lit up in his following start...
