After consecutive losses, is that how you feel? Or do you feel like we will recover from this?

After I saw the score from last night I was reminded of this old Van Morrison song - that's it for me...Jake looked good early and I made a hasty exit to bed to avoid it last night.

btw - my popup ad was for Treasure Cay, Abaco...

It would have been nice to come home with a winning record but after the Yankees sweep I think everyone here would have taken a .500 road trip. I do think we win today though. And I don't envision some eight game losing streak if that's what you mean by back to default mode.

That's cool; I live about 30 miles from Treasure Cay and go there all the time. Come check out Abaco!

Losing is one thing but the starting pitching starting to fall apart and the awful, awful fielding make me feel like it is back to the Orioles way. And losing guys off our 40 man roster to have guys like Nick Johnson on the team make me feel like the person in charge is clueless.

What really concerns me about Arrieta is that he basically gave them the 1st run by throwing the ball away at 1B and wild pitch. It was obvious that he had lost his concentration. The defense definately hurts morale in these cases and only make a rattled picther worse. He struck out the hitter for out 1 and then walked a hitter ...Obviously trying to K him as well. His pitches went from having excellent movement to wild as he started to overthrow.

But lets not panic boys its the 1st 2 game losing streak and Im certain before the season that you really didnt expect us to get this far without losing 2 in a row. I know I didnt.

Last night didn't change anything for me. The O's haven't been a good team for 14 years.

However, with all of the complaints about the game last night, the O's were really just one bad inning away from winning.

If they lose today, I will feel like they wasted the start of a good road trip. If they win, I will feel it was a good road trip. That's about as far as it goes.

The starting pitching hasn't been very good since the 3-game sweep to begin the year.

2nd losing streak.. we were swept by the yankees. There's just one thing I want from this team right now, and that's to hold out at the top of the division until Jim bowdens birthday in may.

The Orioles were stuck in a poor situation by playing the Angels after jumping two time zones without a day of rest. The Angels are in the middle of a home stand. I have pretty low expectations for this game as Buck will put out is Sunday line up. This upcoming series against the Blue Jays will be pretty telling how good this team really is. We have to win 2 out of 3.

We recovered from 3 L's to the MFY's, why not. If you think we can stay in first in the AL East, then I don't know what to tell you. My hope is we can stay within a couple of games of .500 either way, and we keep a head of Boston. Wouldn't it be nice if we could finish ahead of the Sux?
