Fielder, who else? All we needed to do is offer him 10/300 M. Angelos keeps that kind of change in his cookie jar, the cheapskate.

One of the guys I lked for DH was Willingham. Not exactly top tier. Last I checked he was kicking butt though. Other then Fielder and Albert, were than any realistic top tier Free Agents that made any sense or just more mid-tier crap like we've had in the past?

Not really. I was hoping they might sign Barmes or Hairston to upgrade the IF D. I would have liked to see them make a play for Darvish, and possibly Ortiz.

Yeah, Darvish is one I was thinking we could make a play for.

Bill Hall has now hit in 7 straight games ... Batting .367 (11 for30) with 2 homers and 5 RBI. The should be up soon if he keeps hitting.

Hall also has four errors in his nine games this season. It's nice to see him heating up a little, but I can't imagine he would help the O's. Last year he hit decent in the minors too (and identical 826 OPS to what he has right now in Norfolk), when he was called up he hit .214 with a painful OPS of 575 in 62 games for two different teams.

It's just the same thing DD was doing in the offseason. Signing depth guys. I ridiculed it then, loving it now.

As much as I don't like to think about it, injuries are bound to happen. It's nice to have capable guys ready to step in.
