Deion Sanders tweets pic of his kids filling out police report on their mom

Why a parent would put a picture out of this, much less involve his kids in his marital discord, is beyond my comprehension:

The kids witnessed the incident. Makes perfect sense to me.

Former football hall of famer, tackled thousands of times by guys much larger than him, has to call the cops to report his wife beating him up? Then he has to publicly humiliate the wife and drag the kids into a very public dispute? This may be the one and only time I agree with Tim McCarver. "You're a real man, Deion."

So are you saying women are incapable of domestic abuse? What should he do, just take it? At least he didn't hit her back. I don't necessarily agree with the twitter aspect of the story but it seems like Deion is doing the responsible thing to me.

He's just another parent who tries to pit his children against the other parent. Just like the many who have brought their children to court to testify against their other parent, which I might say I've always politely told the "victim" that I would not put such children on the stand as the prosecutor. I've always refused to be a tool in their game.

And to put it out on the internet is unbelievable to me. Now the kids have a keepsake image of them writing statements on their mother to keep forever.

This is my favorite part of that story:

Last month, Pilar Sanders filed a $200 million defamation lawsuit against her husband. She was responding to a tweet from Deion's daughter, Deiondra, which said Pilar was a "gold-digging [expletive]." Deion later explained that the statement couldn't be defamation because it's true.

I understand your point of view, and in general I think children should be left out if possible, and I certainly don't think he should have tweeted a pic of them filing a police report against their Mom, but sometimes one of the parents are wrong. I don't know the whole story hear but it seems as though the kids are siding with the Dad which tells me a lot about the Mom.

Mine too, Tony. That was a great rebuttal.
