Orioles now 5-0 when they don't commit an error
(And therefore 5-7 when they do.) It has been noted by many, and quite accurately, that this team will go as far as its pitching takes it. But there is also something to be said for the fielders doing their part to limit baserunners and stave off big innings.
In their errorless games, the pitchers have allowed 2, 1, 3, 2, and 1 runs over a span of 46 innings--a tidy 1.76 ERA.
Nothing groundbreaking in this observation, but it's nice to see strong efforts on the mound held up by clean performances in the field.Last edited by Babkins; 04-25-2012 at 01:26 PM. Reason: Grammar Sticklerism
