I know he allowed the two base runners, but Strop has straight nasty stuff.

Gonzo is more of a veteran player, and at the time, Texas was thinking playoffs. Gonzo went from being crap early in the season to having an incredible second half of last year, I mean he was amazing... he would pitch so hard that he'd nearly fall off the mound every time, but man would he rack up the strikeouts and fly outs. I think, for all the booing we did of Gonzo earlier in the year, that Texas got their money's worth.
That said, Strop is a player you want to keep and build around. Honestly, I hope to see him on the Orioles staff for a long, long time.

For those who don't know yet: Jason Berken was available in the bullpen tonight, and he'll be available tomorrow, while Andino is away. I wouldn't be surprised if we use him as a setup man tomorrow, or, depending on how long Matusz makes it in his outing, we might see him in the 4th or 5th innings or thereabouts.
Then again, if Matusz has as stellar of a game as Hammel had tonight (unlikely, but possible), we might not see Berken pitch in the majors after all. I believe he will get sent back down when Andino rejoins the team.

15,000 plus in Pittsburgh vs Rockies tonight. 10,000 at Camden Yards. Yikes. And they had snow.
