Which QB in the 2012 draft will go on to have the best career?
Here is the same poll from last year- http://forum.orioleshangout.com/foru...est-NFL-career
No love for Dalton, whereas Locker and Mallet got the most votes. Have to admit that I had a bad read on Cam Newton too.
What about this time around? Anyone on a bandwagon that isn't for Luck or RGIII?

Locker is gonna be a a very good QB in this league but Cam is number 1 for now.
This year, I'll say RG3 since I'm a skins fan but a few of these QB's could be have a nice career and surprise some people if they get the chance to play. Like Foles, Cousins, and Russell Wilson

My only concern with Luck is he might get David Carr'd on terrible Colts teams these next two years, but the league protects its QBs better than ever so I would bet that doesn't happen. Nothing wrong with RGIII, but as I said in a much earlier post, his athleticism and attitude overshadow and somewhat mask his lack of passing polish.
I kinda like Cousins chances of the guys in the middle rounds.

I voted for Brock because I am a Bronco fan
ha ha. But I think RGIII will be better than Luck, just a gut feeling. I think the Colts had the opportunity of a lifetime to trade away that pick for a goldmine and rebuild that entire team. They could have kept Manning and found a QB to build around while Manning was still there. I have no idea what that franchise is doing but understand the love for Luck. I just think a lot of teams would have given up the kitchen for him so you can't pass that up when your team has so many holes.
Edit-I LOVE the Weeden pick. Him and the RB for them was a real coup IMO. I know they have gotten a lot of slack from the talking heads but I don't care. Good moves in my book.

Osweiler has found himself in a great situation, IMO.
As for the poll, I went with Griffin.

I voted Luck, but this could be an Elway/Marino situation. Which of them was better? They were both great, but had different styles of play. The individual stats say Marino was better, but Elway was the guy who got his team to 5 Super Bowls and won 2. You could argue all day who was better. I'm hoping it will be that way with Luck and RGIII.

For last year, I'll still stand by Dalton. Well, I think I was off about Gabbert. He's a bust but I did say Dalton or Gabbert so half credit. I think Newton will continue to put up great fantasy numbers but I don't think it translates to wins, at least not consistently. Dalton will win the most games.
For this year, it's Luck and I still don't think it'll be particularly close. RG3 can be a good QB for a long time but Luck is going to be special.
