Your choice for the Ravens selection in round 1

If these players fall who do you want ?

My pick is probably well know ...But I'd actually take Hightower or Upshaw. I saw a interview with Upshaw on the NFL network and think he's a really neat guy. Had a life similar to Oher except he didnt live with the family that helped pay for his Rec sports when he was a kid. The McKenzie's made a major impact on Upshaw when he was a very young boy.

Hightower, I suppose. It would be nice to trade back a few if all three of your top listed guys are there.

Konz, Kendricks, Joe Adams/Brian Quick would be a great 3 round haul.

Again ...I think Konz is too much of a injury risk for a 1st rounder. Basically the media hyped the Raven/Konz idea and has ridden it pretty far. They all seem to be jumping off that ship right now.

If someone wanted to trade up a few slots to grab a QB like Weeden i'd be in ...But I really only want Hightower or Upshaw. I'd want Hightower if he was there at the pick and Upshaw if he's gone before we pick. I'd be surprised if Konz doesnt fall to the mid 2nd.

It seems that's what the prevailing winds say, but he is still THE premier C. I would guess on end of round 1, maybe early 2.

Let me throw this name out as a guy who I've not seen linked to the Ravens, at least not in the 1st round, as their potential pick tonight.

Lavonte David-He's an undersized LB but boy is he good and a Ravens type of player. Also, fits a need. Ideally, they trade back and can pick him up early in the 2nd round but it wouldn't surprise me if they took him at 29.

Also like Shea McClellin. I think we can all agree the first pick the Ravens will make will be a OL or a LB.

But if I were making a bet, I'd be banking on a trade up, not a trade down.

-With as much depth as there is in this draft I doubt Ozzie wants to give up a 3rd rounder to move up. WOuld be surprised if it happened. Maybe if someone like Hightower is still there at 27 and they only had to give up a 5th rounder to move up a couple of slots but not the 3rd rounder.

-I also think they could draft a WR with their first pick though that would be much more likely if they moved down and that first selection was in the 2nd round.

I just have a feeling there is a guy on OL that feel is similar to how they felt about Oher. Not that you ever hear anything out of the Ravens camp this year it's eerily quiet. If I was the Ravens I'd put a ton of value on a guy like Glenn and see what they might have to do to move up to get him. He's type I'm envisioning.

I voted to trade down. That said, I prefer Upshaw and/or Hightower with the 29th overall pick. I also think that if they would happen to trade up it would probably be for one of these two guys. I think that they can trade down and get a servicable interior lineman in the second round. Also, in addition to O-line, the Ravens have depth issues at safety and linebacker. Extra picks would help with this IMO.

I'd think we have to be looking for multiple punters. Impossible to have too many punters. We really lacked in the left footed punter department last year and it showed. Anybody know who Kiper's top 5 10th grade punters are? Need to worry about the present and the future! And what's the over/under on when Kiper is going to list his top 10 for next year? After the 2nd pick?

David should/could very well be there for our 2nd round choice.
