Matt Kemp: Good at baseball?
Kemp just hit his 10th home run. 437 feet.

The guy has only one stolen base in three attempts. Phooey.

Guess he would have been worth it for Bedard.

WSH @ LAD... talk about elite young talent.
Strasburg 7 IP 5 H 1 ER 0 BB 9 K
Billingsley 7 IP 5 H 1 ER 2 BB 6 K
Harper doubles, hits a huge sacrifice fly, Kemp hits a walk-off after an exciting 9th. That's the kind of game you tell your kids about.
But Kemp is the highlight and it's pretty clear he's the early MVP favorite. Someone's going to have to take it from him because I could see this going on all year. 11 homers now and 2 stolen bases... and I wouldn't be surprised if the steals increase while the home run rate stays the same. It's so much fun when those super talented guys just figure it out and you get to watch them at their peak. I mean, Matt Kemp, age 27, is probably going to have one of the best seasons any of us have seen in a while and the guy with the best chance to surpass it is Matt Kemp, age 28.
