- 27-year old right-handed reliever Miguel Gonzalez struck out four in two no hit innings and now has struck out 14 in 9.1 innings at Norfolk whole allowing just one hit and one walk. That's pretty dominant. Don't know much about him but his early stats have me intrigued, especially for a guy who wasn't very good in AA last year.
- Dana Eveland now has a 2.66 ERA in four AAA starts but batters have a .305 average off him.
- Ryan Adams went 0-for-2 to continue his slow start on the season .162/.278/.250/.528. He's batting just .118 in his last ten games but has walked nine times.
- LJ Hoes went 3-for-5 and is now batting .385/.478/.487/.965 over his last ten games with a 7-1-, BB-K ratio.
- Conversely, Manny Machado continues his slump going 0-for-5 with two strikeouts and is batting just .184/.273/.263/.536 over his last ten games.
- Mike Wright (3-1, 2.86) allowed three runs over six innings while striking out five. Batters are hitting .253 off him.
- Nick Delmonico has a six-game hitting streak after going 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. Over the six-games he's batting .375 (9-24) with three doubles.
- John Reuttiger made a error in the outfield but he extended his hitting to nine games by going 3-for-5 with a double. He's batting .360/.430/.440/.870 this season.

Should I start these quick farm recaps in their own thread or does no onw really care about these? Just trying to figure out where they best fit is. Thoughts?

I think they are a good idea. kindof gives you a idea who playing well and who isn't. I would think putting them in game summaries thread is a good idea, but who knows. Originally Posted by Tony-OH

I'm a huge fan, I vote yes. I like the factual side of it, but would also be greatly interested in hearing your opinion (if only briefly) of the players you're highlighting as well (such as Mike Wright, with his fastball, could be a fast mover or Reuttiger is taking advantage of younger competition but has sound swing mechanics...just random examples, I have no idea if those are true). You know this system better than just about anyone, so context would be great as well, but if you only have time to do the quick recaps, I really like them and will certainly settle for that!
